REStronics New England to host IPC’s Northeast Regional Solder Skills Competition

REStronics of New England is excited to announce that they will be hosting the inaugural regional soldering competition event, where the champion will secure a spot in the national competition at the APEX Show in San Diego, CA in 2013.

Participants will showcase their skills in assembling various electronic devices onto a printed circuit board, adhering to IPC class 3 standards and specifications. The champion will be determined by both speed and precision, aiming for the quickest completion with the fewest defects. Each participant will be awarded a certificate of participation.

Renowned industry expert Leo Lambert, Vice President and Technical Director of EPTAC Corporation will be among the distinguished judges for this competition. With his extensive experience and involvement in IPC Committees, Leo brings a wealth of knowledge to evaluate the contestants against the highest industry standards.

Details are as follows:

First Place: $500
Second Place: $250
Third Place: $100
