J-STD-001 Instructor
This is a combination lecture and hands-on course covering the information in the IPC J-STD-001 document, “Requirements for Soldered Electrical & Electronic Assemblies”.
This 5-day program recognizes qualified instructors and is designed to test the proficiency of knowledge and soldering skills the attendee already has.
This course does not teach the fundamentals of soldering that is required to be successful.
To obtain certification, attendees must successfully receive passing grades on both their open and closed written exams as well as their soldering skills workmanship.
Familiarity with the criteria in the J-STD-001 document is strongly recommended as well as reading/writing in English to understand the document and exam questions.
